Phally, Siam Reap, Cambodia

Posted in Globe Treking, My Kind of People by Ben Brown Photography on August 1, 2013

Travelling for several hours along a mud road, from Battambang to Siam Reap, the fascinating journey provided scenic views of rural life and Asia of yesteryear.  The area has some of the richest rice growing lands in the country.  Before we arrived at Siam Reap, we stopped at a small village.  We were instantly swamped by the villagers.  The mothers asked if their Children could stay and look at us and touch our skin, as they rarely see ‘white people’.

We were very lucky that our guide, Phally, took us to this unscheduled village, to have this experience.
